The Insitute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) has awarded CPD points for the Learnbloodtransfusion modules as follows:

-          Module 1 Safe Transfusion Practice – 6.0 points

-          Module 2 Blood Components and Indications for Use – 6.0 points

-          Good Manufacturing for Hospital Blood Banks – 6.0 points

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

Medical staff should apply for CME credits through their professional body, the recommendations are:

-          Module 1 Safe Transfusion Practice – 1 Hour study 

-          Module 2 Blood Components and Indications for Use – 4 Hours study
