Better Blood Transfusion (BBT) is a multi-disciplinary team with the objective to enhance patient care through safe transfusion practice.

This is achieved through audit, research and blood data management, the implementation of quality improvement strategies and the development and delivery of transfusion education to NHS Scotland.
